PolyChat lets you create lessons, challenges, and similar learning content. This content is public to any user of PolyChat, along with your username. Do not include information you do not want others to see. You can delete your content or your account; deleted content may stop being visible, but copies other users already opened may persist for a time.

🎤 Speech and voice

PolyChat uses your device's microphone for speaking practice across several game types and conversation features. Some activities ask you to say a single word; others ask you to speak a phrase or take part in a conversation. We use your speech to create a text transcript so the experience can check what you said or continue the conversation.

• We do not store your speech recordings on our servers.
• Your speech is processed to create a transcript so the game or chat can respond.
• In chat, we store the text transcript so you can reopen the conversation later and pick up where you left off. We do not keep the original recording.
• Your speech and transcripts are not used for advertising.

🔒 Voice data

We do not sell your personal data. Speech recordings are not stored on our servers. Text transcripts from chat may be stored so you can continue a conversation later. Speech and transcripts are never used for advertising.

🌐 Website and playable web experiences

When you visit our website or use our playable web games, we and our service providers may collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP address. We use this to operate the site, understand usage, and—when ads are shown—to serve and measure advertising.

📢 Advertising

We use Google advertising services, including Google AdSense, Google Ad Manager, and Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Ads may appear as interstitials between experiences or as rewarded interstitials in our playable web app and mobile app, where you choose to watch an ad in exchange for an in-experience reward. We do not place ads inside blog articles.

We use third-party services to operate the website and app, including hosting, analytics, advertising, and speech-to-text processing. Services that help us process speech receive audio only to produce a transcript. They are not used to store your recordings or to show you ads.

🧒 Children

Our advertising and playable experiences are not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
